Camp Oakhurst’s 2015 Summer Party to benefit Camp Oakhurst is being held on Saturday, July 11, 2015 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Ocean Beach Club in Elberon, NJ.
This 10th annual party is to raise funds to help send children with special needs to Camp Oakhurst. On June 19, Camp Oakhurst will begin its 110th year of providing summer camp to children with special needs, including autism and physical and intellectual disabilities. Campers will be greeted by a trained staff of activity specialists, counselors, lifeguards and nurses, all of whom will help them have a rewarding and memorable summer. They will engage in such traditional camp activities as swimming, athletics, crafts, music, media arts, drama and cooking. The goal is to help these children have fun, make friends, become more independent, and discover the abilities and talents inherent in everyone.
In order to serve all campers without regard to ability to pay, the support of individuals, foundations and other philanthropic organizations is needed and appreciated.
