RAIN OR SHINE, Camp Oakhurst’s 2016 Summer Party to benefit Camp Oakhurst will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2016 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the home of Krista and David Long in Rumson, NJ.
This 11th annual party is to raise funds to help send children with special needs to Camp Oakhurst. On June 17 Camp Oakhurst began its 111th year of providing summer camp to children with special needs, including autism and physical and intellectual disabilities. Campers will be greeted by a trained staff of activity specialists, counselors, lifeguards and nurses, all of whom will help them have a rewarding and memorable summer. They will engage in such traditional camp activities as swimming, athletics, crafts, music, media arts, drama, cooking and nature studies. The goal is to help these children have fun, make friends, become more independent, and discover the abilities and talents inherent in everyone.
In order to serve all campers without regard to ability to pay, the support of individuals, foundations and other philanthropic organizations is needed and appreciated.
Please view/print the Invitation and email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 212-779-2725 for more information. You can purchase tickets right up until the party begins on our Donate page. Under Designation, choose Special Event.
